30 Reasons to Wait

Despite enormous societal changes over the last 50 years, there continues to be cultural pressure to find a partner and marry in our 20's. Men, and especially women, who have not married by their early 30’s are scrutinized by our society. This is despite the fact that key life barometers continue to climb.

The fact is, the divorce rate is highest for those married between 20 - 24 years old, but drops by 50% every half a decade following. Those who wait until 30 - 34 to marry have only a 10% chance of divorce and those who wait until 35 - 39 have only a 5% chance.

Yet, despite the facts and trends, why do most unmarried women who are over 30 feel like they're behind? The fact is they're not behind. Whether designed or not, they're the smart ones! Chances are they're better off than those of us who wed in our 20’s because they've had the opportunity to learn who they are, what they want, and how they are going to get it.

It is our goal to influence societal norms and prove that it’s OK to wait!

Simply stated, the book, “30 Reasons to Wait" will be a guide and resource for 20-somthing men and women who are looking to marry, as well as validation for men and women over 30 who have not married.
